All of Christ for All of Life

Abraham Kuyper once said, “There is not a square inch in the whole domain of our human existence over which Christ, who is Sovereign over all, does not cry, Mine!" Therefore, it is all of Christ for all of life. Our lives are not segmented into areas where Christ has some influence and others where he has more. Therefore, it is the mission of our church to devote ourselves to growing into Christ in all things and sharing the good news that when we submit to Christ in all areas of our lives, it is there that we glorify God and enjoy him forever.

Our Mission

“Know Christ Deeply, Live for Christ Fully, Proclaim Christ Boldly”

Know Christ Deeply

Our first calling is to treasure Christ above all else and seek Him with all our hearts.

“Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord.” Philippians 3:8

Live for Christ Fully

Christ is Lord over every square inch of life; we seek to live under His reign in holiness, obedience, and joy.

“Whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.” Colossians 3:17

Proclaim Christ Boldly

Knowing and living for Christ compels us to make Him known — to our neighbors and the nations.

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations… and behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20

Beliefs

Scripture. We believe the Bible, Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, infallible Word of God and the only final authority for faith and life.

The Triune God. We worship one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

The Gospel. We are saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, who lived a perfect life, died for our sins, and rose again. All glory belongs to God alone.

Our Confession. As a Reformed and Presbyterian church, New Covenant Presbyterian holds the Westminster Standards (the Westminster Confession of Faith and the Larger and Shorter Catechisms) as our confession of faith, faithful summaries of what Scripture teaches.
